Gartner Cool Vendor PC Technologies, 2007

Camwood the leading UK software & consultancy company, developing and delivering a comprehensive range of services and software solutions to support application migrations and ongoing application operations management within Microsoft Windows environments has been included in the Gartner Inc, “Cool Vendors in PC Technologies 2007 Report”. There are only 5 companies nominated from around the globe and Camwood are the only UK based company.
In Gartner’s words…….Cool technologies are those that you look at and say, "Wow, I want one of those!" But in the IT industry, vendors that provide cool technologies often are not easily identified or noticed.
Gartner's definition of a cool vendor is a company offering a technology or product that is:
Innovative — it enables users to do things they couldn't do before
Impactful — it has or will have business impact; it's not just "technology for the sake of technology"
Intriguing — it has caught Gartner’s interest or curiosity
